The New Zealand MBA Association ("MBA Association") was established in
February 1987, within the offices of the Advanced Business Programme at Otago
University. Since its conception, the MBA Association has developed into a
vibrant and financially sound association providing activities that appeal to
the top echelon of graduate MBAs.
The membership list is continually growing as the highly energetic and
enthusiastic Executive Committee continues to refine and focus the MBA
Association.
The MBA has established and continues to foster strong relationships with the
Alumni of New Zealand universities. The MBA Association believes in the benefit
of effective networking and strong business relationships. To this end, the MBA
Association in conjunction with the Alumni has working diligently in
establishing the benefits and synergies of being associated with each other.
Tangible results are beginning to show with a number of the universities
agreeing to offer MBA Association membership to its MBA students.
As the MBA Association is of no political bias it is able to publicly comment
on educational reforms and advocate better management education and support the
growing voice for continuous learning.
